Volunteers are an important part of Rockin’ The Spectrum.
Whether you have a few hours to help at an event, want to work on projects from home, have professional skills to share, or are looking for an ongoing way to get involved, we’d love to have you join us.
You do not need professional experience to volunteer.
We welcome students, parents, professionals, retirees, community members, and volunteers of all abilities.
We’ll work with you to find an opportunity that fits your interests, strengths, comfort level, and availability.
At Rockin’ The Spectrum, inclusion doesn't stop with the people and families we serve.
People with disabilities are welcome to volunteer with us too.

Some Rockin’ The Spectrum programs involve individuals who have higher support or safety needs.
Because of this, not every program uses volunteers for direct participant support. Certain roles require trained or paid staff.
When direct-support volunteer opportunities are available, additional requirements may apply depending on the position.
We will work with each volunteer to find an appropriate role.

NOW HIRING: Part-Time Direct Support Program Staff
Rockin’ The Spectrum is looking for a caring, hands-on part-time team member to work directly with our Adult Day Program participants.
This role is all about connection, support, and meaningful daily activities.
What You’ll Do:
• Work one-on-one and in small groups with adults with Autism and developmental differences
• Support life skills (daily routines, independence, social skills)
• Assist with arts & crafts and creative activities
• Help with continuing education & structured learning activities
• Step in to support or fill in for the Lead Teacher when needed
• Help create a calm, positive, sensory-friendly environment
Schedule: Tuesday–Friday, daytime hours
Position: Part-Time
Pay: Based on experience
